I will provide a safe, calm, and supervised environment. Off-lead time outside fenced areas will not occur without

consent. If urgent vet care is required, I may act in the dog’s best interest. The owner agrees to cover related vet

costs.

The Owner confirms his/ her dog is up-to-date with vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, and has no

undisclosed behavioural risks. If behaviour poses a danger to people or dogs, the booking may be ended early

for safety.

Homestays are confirmed only once dates are agreed, and your booking is accepted in writing. A 50% deposit is

required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due before the start of the stay (3 days prior). If the

owner returns early, the original booking total remains in effect. Genuine emergencies may be exempt at the sitter’s

discretion.

I will take all reasonable precautions, but the owner accepts that accidents, injury, illness, escape, or unexpected

events can occur. The owner remains responsible for the dog's behaviour and any damage caused.

If your dog is not dropped off for their booked stay and no contact has been made before the agreed check-in time,

this will be considered a no-show, and the full booking fee will be charged.

Homestay spots are limited and reserved exclusively for your dog, so cancellations can be difficult to fill at short notice.

• More than 14 days’ notice before check-in → deposit may be refunded or transferred as a credit to a future

  stay (at my discretion).

• 7–13 days’ notice → up to 50% of the total booking fee may be charged.

• Less than 7 days’ notice → up to 100% of the total booking fee may be charged.
  

Please notify me as soon as possible if you need to cancel or move your booking, so the space can be offered to

another client.

If I ever need to cancel or reschedule a homestay (for example, due to illness, family emergency, or circumstances

beyond my control), you will be notified as soon as possible. Any payments for nights not yet used will be refunded

in full or transferred as a credit to a future stay if you prefer. I may provide suggestions for alternative care options,

but I cannot guarantee availability with other providers.

You may choose to discontinue future homestay bookings at any time. To avoid charges for upcoming stays, please

provide notice at least 24 hours prior to the next scheduled check-in date. Any prepaid future stays not yet started

will be refunded, minus any applicable cancellation fees already incurred under the terms above.

By engaging TallPuppy, you acknowledge that I may take photos or short videos of your dog during training

sessions or homestays. These may be used to:

● Demonstrate training techniques and progress

● Create educational resources for clients

● Share positive reinforcement training in a respectful, professional way (including on social media and my

website)

I do not share clients' surnames, home addresses, or other identifying personal details with this content. If you do

not want your dog to appear in any photos or videos for these purposes, you can:

• Tick the photo/video opt-out box on the client form, or

• Please contact me at any time to withdraw consent. (Contact info in footer)

If you opt out or withdraw consent, I will not use any new photos/videos of your dog going forward.
